Provider Portal

Via the Mutual Medical Plans, Inc. Provider Portal, providers have online access to check their patients' eligibility, benefits and claim payment status.

With this tool, providers can view:

• Patient coverage details including start and end dates, products (medical, dental, vision), etc.
• Plan benefit descriptions
• Current year deductible / out of pocket balances
• Claim processing status
• Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
• And more!

Registration is easy, requiring several pieces of provider practice information along with an email verification step.

For technical support with registration issues, click on 'Contact Us' above and complete the Technical Support request form. Due to Federal privacy regulations, Mutual Medical Plans cannot respond to membership, claim or benefit inquiries submitted via email. Any such requests will be immediately deleted.

HIPAA EDI Transactions

Electronic benefit inquiries (270/271) and claim status inquiries (276/277) for Plans administered by Mutual Medical Plans are available via SSI Claimsnet. Transactions should be sent to SSI using payer ID MMPHX. 

270/271 benefit inquiries return an immediate response, confirming the member's coverage and providing details on the deductible, coinsurance or copay requirements for dozens of Service Type Codes. 

276/277 inquiries will provide complete payment details on any claims which have completed processing. 

These transactions are integrated into most providers' billing / practice management systems. Contact your IT department for details. Payers who do not currently utilize interface with SSI Claimsnet can reach out to them via their website.
